Sept 11

Sept 11 2002
A day that began like any other day,
I gave my dad a smile,
as I got off his car.
There was someone that I deeply missed,
I dialed his number,
but stopped halfway...
Thinking, there is always
another day...

Yet, if I perished like thousands who did,
last year, today;
I would regret it that,
I didn't get to call him.
I would regret getting off my dad's car,
without a word,
When I could've hugged him and tell him,
that I love him;
instead of assuming,
that he knew all along.
